I ordered this to use primarily to roast marshmallows with my kids when we have game nights. It’s also relaxing and nice just to watch the flames with a glass of wine.You receive the concrete mini fire pit, a stainless outer burner, a smaller inner burner, a large cotton pad, two extendable skewers, a cover to extinguish the fire and the instructions.The instructions could be clearer for someone who has never used one of these. I watched a quick YouTube video to bridge the information gap. I ended up cutting the large cotton pad in two pieces because it seemed way too large.To use, you put the dry cotton pad inside the inner burner, place the inner burner inside the outer one, and then add isopropyl alcohol (I used 91% strength) to the inner burner, being careful not to exceed the max fill line. Then you light the fire pit. It took a few tries for the cotton pad to ignite, but when it did, a nice flame developed quickly. We were roasting marshmallows in no time!Smoke is almost nonexistent and there is no odor when in use. Also the fire pit is heavy and designed such that it would be difficult to accidentally knock it over, so I feel it’s safe to use indoors, with supervision.After each use, you’re supposed to completely empty and wipe out the inside of the burners. I only filled the alcohol reservoir (inner burner) about a quarter full the first time and it burned for approximately 30 minutes before it ran out of fuel. I have reused the same piece of cotton pad with no problems. The instructions don’t say whether you’re supposed to use a new cotton pad each time, so as long as I don’t notice smoke, that’s what I will keep doing.5/5

I like this mini fire pit, especially the geometric shape and dark color. It comes with extensible mini marshmallow forks. I expect it to be durable, since it’s concrete. It will burn isopropyl alcohol, rubbing alcohol, or bioethanol, a plant based processed ethanol. I plan to use it outside, but I think it would be safe for indoor use, if you’re not worried about pets. It would also make a lovely and unique gift.

I got this to toast marshmallows which made sense to me because if comes with roasting sticks. I followed the directions and it out a black char on my marshmallow. So I went and got a different type of fuel and still black. I’m not sure if I could get it to not have a chemical flavor and I hate that it doesn’t create golden toasted caramel looking marshmallows. I included a video of me using the isopropyl alcohol option and a picture of what I think a toasted marshmallow should look like.The toasting aside, this is really pretty. It’s a great weight and a wonderful addition to a table scape and it burns a really long time. The metal top turns the fire off without smoke. And I’ve been using the tasting sticks with my oven.

Very aesthetic
Apart from its function, I must start by saying that it looks great. It is like an aesthetic accessory with its modern design. I like its heavy and thick structure. Fire pits carry with them fire danger, so you would like them to stand robustly and not to transfer heat. Its thick and heavy structure might help with both issues. Roasting sticks were a nice touch especially with their telescopic (extendable) stem.There are only two things I wish that were different. One is that the extinguishing cover might have had a plate of its own to rest. The other is a better instructions manual. While you don’t need to many instructions on this, how to use the wick could have been clarified, for example. It is important to have as much information as possible for a product in which you will pour alcohol and start a fire.Overall, I like it, especially for its aesthetic design.
