Love that it uses alcohol and will burn for 2 hours. We have made s’mores and cocktail wienies, worked great! If you are like me and can’t have or don’t want a big fire pit this one will work for you too. I have on a table under my gazebo and enjoy it every night.

I loved this unit as soon as I pulled it out of the box. It is beautifully crafted and solid. The concrete not only feels safe for a table top fire pit, it also looks really cool.I ordered this fire pit for two reasons: first to provide a temporary, completely off-grid heat source and second, because I love toasted marshmallows and s’mores. Last winter we had a severe snow storm (almost 4 feet) which knocked out power all across town for nearly three days. While this was extreme and does not happen very often, it got most of us in town thinking about how to prepare for a storm like this in the future. I don’t have a wood burning stove in my house, and I don’t want to keep propane in the house to run a camp stove (I also don’t like the smell of propane), so this unit fits the bill.I finally had the chance to light it up last night, and I was not disappointed. It only burned for about 15 minutes, but it made the living room warm enough to set off the air conditioner (but not the fire alarm, thank goodness). The flames were quite a bit higher than I expected, but they remained within the confines of the fire chamber and directly above it and there was nothing flammable near the flames. I was also able to toast some marshmallows over the flames, and they were perfect. Just like when we’d go camping as a family, but without the soot and ash and sparks popping.Pouring the alcohol into the unit was a little tricky, as it splashed a little, but I let it sit for a few minutes to let it evaporate after dabbing it with a paper towel to make sure the flames could not spread. The unit comes with four telescoping forks for roasting marshmallows, and while they are not very long, they were long enough that I wasn’t in danger of burning myself — I could definitely feel the heat, though. The fire pit also comes with a flame snuffer which is slightly larger than the opening on the fire pit — and it worked perfectly. When I was ready to put the fire out, I slid the snuffer from the side over the flames and they went out immediately.I highly recommend this table top fire pit though I’d recommend taking precautions when using it because the flames do get really high.

This is a pretty tabletop fire pit that comes with a kit for making smores as well! We already had a smore kit that we have been using, so the sticks were more bonus for us, but if you are looking for an all-in-one solution to making smores, this would be a very nice product to get.Our 4-year-old tasted smores for the first time this summer, when we had a little campfire outside, so he had been clamoring to make it again, so I was happy to give this product a try to use indoors. It obviously is a lot easier to get the fire going (we used 95% ethyl alcohol) compared to outdoor campfire, and with the size being smaller, even our son was able to get in on the action of melting his own marshmellows (obviously with oversight from my wife and me).The fire pit seems to be very well-built, and I really liked the narrow, rectangular design, as it goes along better with the dining table compared to the more square-like shapes. Even the outside city design is well-done and makes it look a lot nicer on the outside. Once we were done with the smores, it was easy enough to use the included extinguishing cap; everything seemed to be done safely and in control, especially indoors.Overall, I would recommend this product.

I didn’t know what to expect with this tabletop fire pit. But, I am very pleased with it! We have used it multiple times now for doing smores! Just put in some alcohol to burn and light it up! I do wish that it had a damper, so that you could lower the flames, make it last a bit longer. I also wish that the top would cover it correctly to keep rain water out. Other than that, I really love this thing. When the grandkids come over and if we decide to do smores, I don’t have to worry about do we have dry wood to build a fire in the traditional fire pit. If the wood is wet, or if we are short on time, this is very handy! Oh, I will say, that this burns the alcohol, I feel very quickly. So, if you are looking for an evening with a fire going, this is not really what you would want.

I really like the sturdiness and durability of this tabletop fire pit. I feel like it will last a good while through multiple uses. There is a nice design on the outside which makes it look nice even when not in use. It’s kind of handy since it works off regular, isopropyl alcohol. I like that it works from stuff we already had in the house, so we didn’t have to make additional purchases for it to work. You can add fuel based on how long you think you’ll be using it. This does come with skewers, but I kept getting that faint alcohol smell even after it was lit and had been burning for some time. I roasted a marshmallow and didn’t get the alcohol smell on it, and it didn’t taste bad. My 22yo son roasted a hot dog over it, which took a little while and he said that tasted fine. I just don’t know how I feel about it. If I can smell it, I feel like it would also be getting into the food, but…that’s just my preference. I am a country camping girl, though, so roasting stuff has always been done over a bonfire in my family, not over what I would call a chemical flame. This is a nice option if you don’t have space for a full fire pit where you are. The extinguisher plate worked great. I do like the idea of this when we’re sitting on the porch and just want to be outside and watch the flames bounce. It’s quite relaxing for that, but I don’t think I’ll be eating anything else. Doesn’t detour my spouse and son any though.
