After racoons stole two new garden lights this summer out of our backyard (true story), I was pleased to order this set to replace them. When the order arrived, one of the black pointed stake tips was missing from the order. I contacted the company and received an immediate reply. Within a week, I had been sent not only a new tip but an entire new light. That was above and beyond what I expected; this company stands behind their products! The lights are easy to set up. I glue on the black tips, even though they fit tightly on the poles; just as an added precaution in case I move them from one location to another. The lights are bright enough to see from a distance and the warm white light does not result in any glare or harshness a cooler white would. The ring over the stems easily allows you to change the tightness of the cluster of bulbs. The ‘leaves’ help them to blend in during the day. I love these in the summer for pots or beds; in the winter I will put them in trees to add a little extra whimsy to our outdoor holiday decorations. Now I just need to figure out how to keep the critters from taking them! Might need to stake them down with a retaining line to prevent them from disappearing.

I love solar lights, and these are my favorite of our little collection, for a great natural look as well as ease of use. They are so simple to put down! The solar sun-collector piece is ATTACHED, so you just have ONE stake to put in for each – and that stake is METAL, not plastic. I have a couple of others that are nearly the same as this, but this product is nicer, with the fake grass-like green leaves. My husband says now as I write this review:: “Be sure to tell them how useful the spreader is!” Yes, the spreader is a real bonus extra, not included on our other, similar lights. (I now have a total of eight from 3 different places, including this set of four). The separator/spreader for the lights is a little piece on the stems that can move up and down, to spread this light-plant wider or narrower, easily, as you wish. When the other similar solar lights didn’t have this, and I wanted to spread the “light plant” wider, I had to each press each light cord open at the base – but then, they later got too wide (for my preference), so this little piece is a handy extra bonus. If you want to see what I mean by this, see the video here with the blond young woman, where she is explaining this product – she pushes that “separator” up and down to demonstrate.

These solar lights have nothing much to keep them standing erect. Where the “stems” enter the “stalk” is also not secured and sealed very well, which I suspect will lead to early failure. The current Amazon listing price of $25 seems a little high, but I see there’s now a $10 coupon, which makes them a little more reasonable — if you don’t mind how limp they are.

We’ve gone through a few solar lights of this style from various manufacturers. This was the first set we received where all four lights actually worked! Granted, I realize the bar is set pretty low. All the others should have worked as well. But what’s impressive to me is that this is fairly cheap, comparable to the others I tried, but it is the only set that manages to be cheap AND functional. That said, quality-wise, you are certainly getting what you paid for. As long as these last a year or so though, I’ll be satisfied.

Really like the solar lights. Look very good in my driveway.

First, these are exactly as advertised and if put into a short hedge or tall grass border, I think they would be a beautiful addition. The solar panel charges them up during the day, and they will stay on for several hours at night (At least 6 hours). For myself, they aren’t quite what I had hoped for, and since I do not (yet) have any kind of border or hedge or border, they have limited use for me. Perhaps I’m not being creative enough and I’ll think of the perfect use for them later.

I ordered these Solar Garden Lights to go in my back garden. These lights come in several clusters. I bend the “stems” down so that they blend in with my plantings. As soon as it gets dark, these clusters light up. Beautiful effect! Now that fall is here, my plants have either died or are ready to winter over. I’m not sure if I’ll leave the Solar Lights in for winter, as they might look a bit odd without foliage. I’ll have to see. Regardless, these are beautiful little lights and they go on every night, so the solar panel is working just fine.

I have a few of these type of Solar Garden Firefly Lights and what I like about these are they have fake leaves and are green so they blend in better with flowers in your garden. These lights have 2 lighting modes: steady on or flashing. Unlike my other solar lights these do not have the 1 and 2 labels to allow you to select the lighting mode. Instead it’s labeled as Off and On. Strangely Off is not Off as it’s actually flash. There’s a middle position that is really Off and On is for steady on.I really like the design but the QC is bad at least the ones I’ve received. Only 1 of 4 light worked correctly.Light 1: The “stalk” is not glued correctly and the wires are exposed. I had to hot glue that light so it will stay up right are the wires are no longer exposed.Light 2 would not turn on, I open the solar box and found the battery wasn’t making contact as the metal plate was too small. I was able to solder a small connecting plate to allow the battery to make contact.Light 3 is very dim compare to the other 3 lights. I still need to take that one apart and see if I can “fix it.”As I stated I really like the design but the bad QC would make me think twice of buying them again.
