My husband loves his Whirly Pop … and it does make good popcorn … but it requires you to stand over the stove and spin the handle. It works great for him because he will eat that popcorn for DAYS, no matter how stale it gets.Me? I’d rather have a much smaller servings that are hot and fresh … but I really don’t like the bags of microwave popcorn that you can buy in the grocery store. The fat in them never tastes fresh, and it’s impossible to pop all of the kernels.My new microwave popper solves that problem. I can use fresh kernels and real butter … and make myself a nice bowl for a snack. The lid measures out the kernels, AND melts your butter for you as your corn pops!It’s quick! It’s easy. It’s Good for What It Is—But Don’t Expect Stove-Top Perfection! Let’s be real, it’s a microwave popcorn maker, so no, it’s not replacing your classic on-the-stove version anytime soon. It gets the job done, though, and the popcorn tastes decent. The butter dripper on top is a clever idea, but oh boy, the cleanup is a chore. You pretty much have to wash this thing out after every single use, which isn’t ideal if you’re trying to make popcorn for more than one person.Sure, you could just keep popping multiple batches without cleaning, but let’s be honest, that’s probably not going to taste great with all the leftover gunk building up. Bottom line: it works, but be ready for some extra scrubbing!

Just bought a new microwave and decided to treat us to one of these poppers! Best thing ever……it is easy to clean in the dishwasher – both container and lid. The plastic handle makes it safe to hold after it comes out of the microwave, but have a potholder on hand just in case! The glass is very hot!! This is even better tasting than the microwave popcorn bags or air poppers. If you like it with butter, the butter melts right from the lid down into the popper so there is no clean-up mess in the microwave! The butter also disperses really well so popcorn is lightly buttered without any soggy patches of popcorn. Have done 2 batches and no burnt popcorn along with very few “old maid” kernels in the bottom. Good directions and suggestions included with this purchase. Easy cleanup with placing the lid and container in the dishwasher (top rack). Will be purchasing these in different colors as Christmas gifts for family!!

I had a larger, similar popcorn popper that fell and broke, but this smaller one is so much better and it even cost less. It pops all the kernels perfectly and makes just the right amount for one person. It’s easy to use and I can eat right out of the popper! It’s easy to clean and store, too. All in all a great purchase!

I bought this because I saw it all over social media and my girlfriend and I love to eat popcorn while watching shows and movies. I grew up making homemade popcorn so I thought it be a good idea to get this one that everyone was raving about.However, I was deeply disappointed in it… The first time I tried I continually had to add cook time so that the kernels would pop, but I ended up just burning the ones that did pop while being left with many unpopped. My girlfriend and I were very disappointed and it found its spot in the back of the appliance cabinet. One day though I decided to give it another shot and it surprisingly worked much much better. It still left kernels unpopped but it did pop much much more than the first time. I don’t know if this was because it needs to be bone dry (first time we used it we washed it right before we used it) but we have been using it more.Therefore, I gave this item 3 stars because it disappointed us at first but seems to be doing better now. There could be multiple factors as to why it didn’t work in the first place but unsure.

I love using this for a popcorn snack! It is small so if you want to share popcorn you may need to make more than one batch. You can put it in the dishwasher but on the outside between the plastic and glass it doesn’t get clean and need to hand wash that part, which is the only downside of this product. Makes delicious popcorn and making your own popcorn at home is a good healthy snack!

Usei 2x. Na primeira segui exatamente as instruções, usei 2 medidas da tampa o que dizia que daria um pote cheio. Mas deu meio pode. Na segunda vez resolvi usar 3 medidas. Deu um pote cheio, mas queimou (e bem queimada) a pipoca do centro. Então o ideal é usar 2 medidas mesmo, bem cheias. A pipoqueira é linda. Uma cor amarela viva, o vídeo resistente o plástico que reveste forte.Vale a pena.
