I’m absolutely delighted with my Brilliant Smart Home Control system. Installation was a breeze, and the setup process was incredibly user-friendly. I have multiple units installed throughout my home, and integrating them with Alexa for home automation was seamless. The convenience of controlling lights, thermostats, and even doorbells from a single panel—or via voice command—is a game-changer.But what really sets this product apart for me is the intercom feature. It’s incredibly useful for communicating between rooms without having to raise your voice or use a phone. The audio is clear, and the touch interface is intuitive. However, the speaker can not play music. That would be a nice upgrade for a future version. Overall, Brilliant Smart Home Control has significantly enhanced my home automation experience, making daily tasks more efficient and convenient. I highly recommend it!

The technology itself is great. Really cool, but the quality is awful. I was going through a house renovation. I bought a 3 switch Brilliant 14 months ago, but it only got installed 4 months ago. After 4 months of running one of the switches completely broke and stopped feeding power to the lights. Since I had purchased it 14 months ago, it was off warranty. Unfortunately, I bought another 4 switch brilliant in that time for a different part of the house. The 4 switch arrived completely defective. The electrician was installing it while I was not home. he called support and they refused to help him in any way because “The home owner had to be present”. When I came home, the electrician had already left. I called about the ticket he had opened, and the Brilliant support wanted me to mess with the switch the way an electrician would and I did not feel comfortable doing it. Finally, I had to pay the electrician to come out again just to prove to them that it was defective. I sincerely regret spending all this money on a product that is such poor quality, has such an awful support policy and warranty.

I’ve been looking for a 4-gang Alexa controlled switch for a long time. For whatever reason, a lot of the products available either don’t fit a 4-gang opening or are very limited in features. This one is perfect for both! Installation was a breeze and the same as wiring a regular light switch. I was lucky and Brilliant added the live camera view for Android shortly after my purchase (I was hesitant to buy without this, but trusted it was coming soon). This is the only Brilliant switch I have so it’s a little overkill for one room, but I’m planning to add more switches and use this as the main hub when not using Alexa. I’m really impressed with the product and looking forward to adding more!

I have set up my whole home with Brilliant set up, including switches and screens. We tried to have it working with third parties like Ring or Nest Schlage, but it doesn’t work 50% of the times. Also note that the switches get regularly buggy and are a huge pain to reconfigure, without any response at all from their support. My guess is that they simply can’t afford to have support because they would be flooded. So my recommendation would be to go somewhere else if you want to avoid troubles.

I purchased several of these for my home. It’s a solid smart switch. It’s attractive, works well, and has fairly customizable software. I like that you can upload your own images (pets, family, art) to the screen. I use it to control my lighting, Sonos sound system, and even video chat with people in different parts of the house. My guests compliment me on the switches regularly. It’s reasonably intuitive to use, although it can take a while to get it set up. Wiring up the 4 gang units can take sometime, but then, I don’t see how they could make it any faster. The units are expensive but when you compare it to Legrand Adorne or other luxury smart switches they seem fairly comparable and contain more features. One thing I’d really like to see are higher quality faceplates. The plastic they use is very cheap and shiny. Higher quality plastic, textures, more colors, or even metal would really take these to the next level. Last, I wish they’d remove the Brilliant logo from the cover. I don’t need advertisements in my house – it’s tacky.

I got a 3 switch panel and a couple 4 switch panels. The 3 and one of the 4 switch panels got installed and worked great. The last 4 switch panel had some sort of issue with the board. This is where the adventure starts. I contacted tech support who asked a few questions and seemed to imply I didn’t install it correctly. I told him I had an electrician install all 3 panels to which they ask if i tried pushing the test buttons in the back. Again I responding by saying the test buttons didn’t flip the lights. So I asked for a refund or exchange, to which they said they would send the replacement part of the switch which might be the issue. So that was 11 days ago and still no replacement. I guess for light switches that are $500, I would have expected them to just ship a replacement and have me send back the broken one. Not wait 2 weeks and hope they shipped the right broken part.So while I like the ones that are working, I would never buy another one again. As I would expect a luxury product to come with superior customer service. Not some correspondence over their help desk over weeks while you have to go without working switches or replace them with a cheaper one temporarily until they send one that works.

Bought a new house and wanted something to control my lights, Sonos system, and act as an intercom between the kitchen and upstairs bedroom. Alexa built in is an added bonus. I replaced 7 switches with a 4 way Brilliant panel. Had to combine some of the lights but it gave me dimming capability. The installation was only problematic due to the amount of wiring, so I found a spacer on Amazon made for depth limited installs like mine. The control in the Theater was super easy and completed in under 30 minutes. I love these things.

Great control centre the syncs across platforms
Love that the Nest doorbell camera pops up on screen automatically, and I’ve set up the motion sensor for evenings for one of the light switches. The motion sensor also allows you to customize the sensitivity so that my dog won’t set it off, but a person will. There’s so many other integrations (thermostat, assistant plus many more) that we’re already using and excited to add more.Only downside is that location settings (weather and times for sunrise and sunset) are not yet available to anyone who lives outside the US (great for the 350 million Americans, but not so good for the other 7 billion people).
