I wish instructions that came with it told me the difference between mode one and mode two. I chose mode two and I don’t like it, then I researched it and it’s the flashing light setting. The instructions just say to choose mode one or two, but it never tells you what that means.Anyway, I will switch it to mode one the next time I get a chance. They are a great price and really cute and if they only last a year I am okay with that. I only charged for 5 hours and they came on perfectly once it got dark,

Two of four lights purchased stopped working within 2-months. Could be because of heavy rainfall. I emailed customer service and two replacement lights were mailed within a week. Replacements lights are working fine.

I was hoping to get more of these after my initial order, but I am not going to since the advertised photo is not real and the actual product is not as pleasing to the eye as the advertised one. The wires are way too thin to stay in place, and it takes a long time to arrange them in the desired pattern/spread. Then, at the first breeze, the wires end up going where they please. If the wires were less flimsy, this might be a much better product. In addition, the lights are not as bright as the photo leads you to believe. Finally, the two modes (blinking or steady) are not explained. Instead, you have #1 marked as ‘OFF’ and #2 marked as ‘ON’. It is confusing. The switch broke off after first use on one of the 4 lights I purchased.

I purchased two sets of four and after a couple of weeks half of them have quit working. I took one apart and found that water had gotten into the unit and rusted some of the components and one of the wires was broken off. The best i can figure is that they may be okay in the rain but the force of a sprinkler system is too much and water gets inside. The company has been very receptive of my complaints, is working to correct the problem and is replacing the damaged units and for this reason I will rate them with 5 stars as a company.

I really really like these lights. Much more fun than standard solar path lights. We have purchased at least 14 of these in the past year. The only unfortunate thing about them is that the batteries don’t last very long – well at least in our world – only about 6 months. Just bought 8 more – one failed to launch.
